Leonardo got his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry (cum laude) in late 2020, with a thesis work on the exploiting of spectroscopic techniques to study the high pressure synthesis of carbon nanothreads. In early 2022, during his Master’s Degree in Chemical Science, he joined Perfetti’s group at University of Florence. Here he obtained his Master’s Degree in Chemical Science (cum laude) with a dissertation on the magnetic and magneto-electric characterization of an isostructural series of chiral lanthanides’ complexes. In November 2022 he began his Ph.D. journey with us, working on the rationalization of spin-electric effect on lanthanides’ complexes.

Since March 2021 he teaches inorganic chemistry as tutor for students enrolled in scientific Bachelor’s Degrees.
